The Lotz family have over 600 photographs plus some contact sheets and negatives. Most pre-war prints are on Agfa Brovira paper and were printed by Hilde. She also used Agfa Lupex in the early war years. In 1977 she commisioned Nannini (Roma) to make prints from her 1930's negatives.
7,000 35mm negatives from 1935-1943 taken with an early Leica. For a superb selection, it is well worth visiting his website.
KHI holds over 750 images taken with large format cameras in the years up to 1943 of which:
488 photographs of Florentine urban subjects, sculpture, in the form of glass plate negatives and prints
232 photographs of drawings in Gabinetto dei Disegni degli Uffizi
Art historian Tamara Hufschmidt created an online exhibition for the KHI to mark Hilde's centenary in 2007.
